We all know that religions are a sensitive topic and the Amish community is crisscrossed by their religious beliefs. The following reality show has raised a lot of blisters and it is about young Amish people who leave their community to live in New York City for the first time and experience all kinds of unthinkable situations being inside their families. These things include drinking alcohol or using technology and risking never being able to return home or, if they do, being disowned forever.

However, what no one knows is that the contestants in this one had already left the community long before and everything else is a bit of theater as it just tries to recreate what those people have already seen before.A group of Amish youth go to New York to experience novel situations like drinking and using technology. The secret is that they are no longer part of their communities, so they are free to do whatever they want.
