Some people believe shiplap is appropriate in their homes even if they did not intend for the whole “rustic farmhouse look.” It might look great during the first five years, but after those years, it would only look like a carpeted bathroom during the 50s. Suppose we recalled back in the days how fashionable it was if we had a floor-to-ceiling mirror in the house. We might recognize that the floor-to-ceiling mirrors would make our house look old. The mirrors would also be challenging to get rid of, but mirrors were not something we need in our place. If we wanted to have one, we should use it in a home gym or studio.
