The coronavirus has expanded abruptly especially since the media and social networking sites make it all we can think about it. The United States of America has taken action, which may or not be good, but regardless, it has interfered with the lives of many, including college seniors. Imagine having your last two months of college all crammed into 3 days and you’re told to pack up and continue all your classes from your hometown. This would be overwhelming for any 21-22 year old and we can’t even begin to imagine what they’re dealing with. While we can’t really fix this problem, we have a list of tips that may make this transition less devastating
Frequent Facetimes
Even though you can’t physically be with your college friends, facetime is the best way to make it feel like you are with your friends without actually being with them. Especially when it comes to taking online classes, just call up your friends and work on the material together, this way you’ll feel like you are all together while being in different parts of the country.
Make Distant Plans
While nobody can know when the coronavirus will stop, we can make plans for a few months in the future. Start brainstorming ideas with your friends so you have something to look forward to when all the madness finally ends. Whether its a reunion trip, a massive party, or fake graduation, get the ideas flowing and get excited about the celebrations.
Time For Yourself
Even though we try so hard to make time for ourselves during the hectic period of college, the reality is less than sufficient. While you may look at this change in lifestyle due to the coronavirus as a negative thing. It also can be extremely positive. Take this as a chance to do extra online courses, read the book you never got to, or even catch up on family time. There is always an opportunity for you to find some positivity.
