In fact, for a 20-ounce package of white sandwich bread, it is difficult to beat the store’s low price of only 83 cents: Kroger-the sliced bread brand, $1.19. And for a piece, Walmart’s Good Priced Sandwich Bread is $1.48. Also, in ALDI, freshly made bread is cheaper. The baguette costs $1.69, contrasted with Kroger’s $1.99.
