You Do Not Need To Sand Your Furniture To Distress It
Have you noticed how popular distressed furniture is? Some people even go as far as to “flip” old pieces of furniture at thrift stores by sanding the finish. They then resell the final product for a lot of money. There is an easier method to do this, however. You only need to smear on Vaseline on the edges, corners, or other areas that you want to distress. The paint is not going to stick to those parts, so you will get the “distressed” look that you want without needing to sand for hours on end.
Get Rid Of Makeup Stains
We have already told you that Vaseline is good at keeping lipstick away from your teeth. But did you know that it can also get rid of lipstick stains on fabrics? You only have to blot it on the stain before you put it in the wash. This is going to work even for wax or oil. However, you might want to do a spot test before you apply it to a bigger area. After all, it is better to be safe than sorry.
