1921 Helica de Leyat

Marcel Leyat created the 1921 Helica de Leyat, and the strange-looking vehicle derived its name Helica from the phrase “the plane without wings.” The passengers in the 1921 Helica de Leyat sat behind one another just like in a small two-seater airplane. Rear wheels steered the vehicle. The 1921 Helica de Leyat had no engine but was powered by a giant propeller with an engine of 8HP Scorpion at the back of the car. The 1921 Helica de Leyat’s frame had been made of plywood and weighed for only 550 pounds. Its design made the vehicle quick with a recorded top speed of 106 miles per hour in 1927.

Bugatti La Voiture Noire

La Voiture Noire meant The Black Car in French. The Bugatti was deemed to be one of the automaker’s most expensive vehicles, and the reason was because of its handcrafted body made out of carbon fiber. The engine also had a hefty price because under the hood of the Bugatti La Voiture Noire was a 1,500HP, 16-cylinder, quad-turbo engine. The Bugatti La Voiture Noire had first launched in 2019 Geneva, and it was announced that only one had been produced and it would take 2.5 years to produce the model in a limited quantity.
