Baby Giraffe
A giraffe cannot possibly be mistaken for anything else. Fun fact: When they are born, babies drop as high as six feet. They land on their heads and are unaffected. As this will help them take a gasp of air, this is an important part of their growth. In less than an hour, they learn to walk!
Baby Tapir
Do you know what kind of animal this is? This is a tapir, which is also a rare species. We are sorry to report that the planet has only 3,000 or so of them left. This does not help that they give birth all their lives to just one baby. Their distinctive pattern is advantageous because it allows them to remain hidden in the rainforest.
