Do you recognize this creature? A duck-billed platypus is depicted in this photograph. You are right. It does look like a mythical creature, really. It actually exists, however. In eastern Australia, this semiaquatic mammal lays eggs and lives. In its genus and family, this is the only animal. What an intriguing animal!
