She had a lot of inquiries. Did he know the ring that she was wearing? Whose was it, exactly? Who was it that he had called? And most importantly, why did they feel the need to involve the law enforcement in this? However, she was aware that the time was not yet appropriate to inquire about those things. She reasoned that since Mr. Dalton appeared to be very upset, she should probably just let him talk to the police first.

Arrived At The Station
When they arrived at the station after a long journey, Mr. Dalton expressed his gratitude to Samantha for driving him there. After that, he jumped out of the car and ran inside as quickly as he could. She assumed he would need a ride home, so she sat in her car and waited for him to come out. He hadn’t told her to wait for him, but she assumed he would need a ride home.
