He Was Concerned
Samantha drove Mr. Dalton, who had been waiting for her in her car, to his house after she had finished giving her statement. She followed him inside and decided to wait there until his daughter arrived after they both went inside. She couldn’t just abandon this poor old man in such a vulnerable state! He was in a state of extreme distress and emotion, and his concern for his beloved wife was overwhelming.

Unfortunately, Mr. Dalton and Samantha had not provided her with very much material to work with, despite the fact that they had told her everything they knew about Jennifer and the ring. Despite this, she would figure out a solution and try to look on the bright side of things. She did that every time!
