John Charles Julian Lennon

Parents: John Lennon and Cynthia Lennon

Born: April 8, 1963

Julian was the first to be conceived, arriving on the scene only as the Beatles gained popularity. He was the inspiration for three big Beatles songs as a child: John’s “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and “Good Night,” and Paul’s “Hey Jude,” composed to comfort Julian after his parents’ divorce. The father and son were divorced for a while after John abandoned Cynthia for Yoko. Then, in the early 1970s, they reconnected. Julian’s artistic interests had piqued John’s attention, and he bought him a guitar and taught him the ropes. Julian eventually continued in his father’s footsteps. He went on to make a living as a singer, songwriter, actress, and filmmaker.
