Winona Ryder reigned the 1990s with cult hits like Reality Bites, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, and many more. Ryder rose to prominence with her appearance in Heathers and went on to achieve success at her own speed. Furthermore, some of you may recognize Ryder from her appearance on Friends as Rachel’s sorority sister Mellisa. Despite taking a break from acting for a spell, Ryder made a comeback in Netflix’s Stranger Things and Destination Wedding, a 2018 rom-com co-starring Keanu Reeves. Lea Thompson began studying ballet at a young age and became a professional dancer at the age of 14. By the age of 20, she was dancing with the American Ballet Theater’s Studio Company, but her size was a hindrance. She eventually decided to pursue acting, which proved to be the key to her success. Lorraine in the Back to the Future trilogy was her most successful part. In the 1990s, she even appeared in the NBC sitcom Caroline in the City. Her family’s acting tradition goes on in her daughter Zoey Deutch, one of today’s most prominent aspiring actresses.
