Born as Stacie Ann Ferguson, Fergie, because of her sunny attitude and pretty face, was a beloved member of her high school cheering team. She also defied the stereotype that cheerleaders are dumb, given that she was a straight-A student at Glen A. Wilson High School. Later on, she went on to join the Black Eyed Peas.
