With the additional information regarding Sara, Julian’s interest and remorse grew. He couldn’t shake the sensation that he’d overlooked something important. ‘Why didn’t I know about her?’ he pondered, blaming himself for not paying closer attention. The more he learnt, the more he felt the consequences of his previous mistakes. This new information only fueled his determination to seek the truth, no matter the cost.

Julian could no longer conceal his interest. He approached Elara with what he had uncovered about Sara. ‘Who is she, Elara?’ he said, his tone strong. Elara’s face became pale at the mention of Sara. Julian continued, ‘I need to know the truth.’ Elara was clearly uncomfortable with this issue, but Julian’s insistence left her with little alternative. The room became tense, filled with unsaid words.
