Erica Herman worked as a general manager there, and their unlikely first meeting turned into a long-term relationship. Herman was spotted in 2021 while visiting Woods in the hospital. The pro golfer was engaged in a horrific roll-on vehicle accident that necessitated emergency leg surgery. Business conferences aren’t typically conducive to romance, but it worked brilliantly for this two. Mellody Hobson, the head of Starbucks’ board of directors, and George Lucas, the creator/director of Star Wars, began dating in 2006 after meeting at a business convention and haven’t let go since. They married in 2013 and welcomed a daughter through surrogacy the following year. Given that Lucas is the “father” of one of film history’s most popular franchises, and Hobson is the only African-American woman to lead an S&P 500 corporation, it’s no surprise that these two have amassed a combined net worth of more than $6 billion!
