Shirley Douglas, Keifer Sutherland’s actress and girlfriend, died of pneumonia complications on 5 April 2020. The actress starred as Mrs. Starch in director Stanley Kubrick’s “Lolita” (1962) and David Cronenberg’s “Dead Ringers” (1988) and as a widowed mother during the depression in the TV drama “Wind at My Back” (1996). She received the Gemini Award for her 1999 TV movie “Shadow Lake,”

Irrespective of the age at which you were born, it would be a sin not to recognize the songs of Bill Withers. He was a singer/songwriter with songs like “Ain’t No Sunshine,” “Lean on Me” and “Use Me.” He died on March 20, 2020, after a lengthy struggle with cardiovascular disease.
