Leanza Cornett
Leanza Cornett was the 1993 Miss America winner. After suffering a head injury, she had been admitted to the hospital. However, on October 28th, she passed away at age 49. The Miss America Organization took to Facebook to express their condolences and sorrow, writing, “Leanza had a bright and beautiful spirit, and her laugh was infectious. We know that too so many, including all of you, she meant so much”.

Kenzo Takada
Kenzo Takada was a fashion designer who founded the famous Kenzo brand. He passed away on October 4th at age 81 from coronavirus complications according to his spokesperson. His death occurred 50 years after he launched his first collection in Paris, just six years after coming to France from his home country, Japan. There, he was one of the first-ever male students in Tokyo’s Bunka Fashion College.
