How fitting is it to hear that Erik Estrade of CHiPs fame is now working as a police reserve duty? We know him for his portrayal of Officer Frank “Ponch” Poncherollo in the police procedural from NBC. He starred in the drama from 1977 to 1983. After this job, he went on to appear in Spanish telenovelas, infomercials, Adult Swim cartoons, and reality shows. In 2009, he started his new career as a deputy sheriff in Virginia. Seven years later, he moved in with his wife and took up the reserve police officer position in Idaho. How cool is that he happens to a motorcycle officer just like his character?
