Geena Davis
This former model-actress got her start by appearing in a 1982 movie called Tootsie. Aside from that, she has also appeared in The Fly, Beetlejuice, and The Geena Davis Show. Sadly, her acting career started to slow down in the ‘90s. This might be why she launched her own business and directed her own business. She runs the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, which works to help women become more visible in media. In 2018, she used her business connections to fund a documentary called This Changes Everything.
