Jeffrey Allen “Skunk” Baxter
Jeff Baxter of Steely Dan fame entered the music industry in 1968. However, his non-musical endeavors have always been there. Almost by accident, he became a Department of Defense consultant when he discovered software for missile programs. He became an expert in the field and wrote a paper about transforming the Aegis anti-aircraft missile into something else. After submitting it to a congressman, they were impressed enough to hook him up with people at DoD. This is how this career started!

This actor is most famous for playing Danny Torrance in The Shining! After this project, he left acting and never looked back. Well, he did have a cameo in Doctor Sleep, but that was about it. He pursued an academic career and went on to be a professor of biology at Elizabethtown Community & Technical College in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
