He also appeared in commercials and worked behind the camera. As a child actor, Barret Oliver played Balthazar in The NeverEnding Story. He was also in D.A.R.Y.L. and Cocoon. His last role was in a 1989 movie called Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills. After acting, he studied photography. He now specializes in 19th century processing such as collodion and Woodburytype! His work has been in movies, gallery exhibitions, and museums. He also has a collection of photos called “A History of the Woodburytype.”
