In January 2020, Netflix released the last installment of the dramedy. Starring Ashton Kutcher, The Ranch accomplished a number of firsts for the network. For one thing, it was one of its first multi-camera comedy shows. This was also the first time that it split a season with 20 episodes into halves. This Danish drama is set in post-apocalyptic Scandinavia around six years after a deadly virus spread and killed most of the population with the help of the rain. The first season had eight episodes, the second had six, and the final season was made had six more. The final season came out on August 6, 2020.
