Freda Payne
It is pretty unbelievable that Motown did not sign her up. Freda Payne is the talented singer behind songs like “Band of Gold” and “The Unhooked Generation.” It looks like music is actually in her blood. Scherrie is her sister and a member of The Supremes. Did you know that she has also tried her luck as an actress? In the past, she starred in Ella: First Lady of Song and Nutty Professor II: The Klumps. It is also awe-inspiring to learn that she continues to perform even until now.
Kate Bush
Catherine Bush is better known as Kate Bush. She is a fabulous singer, performer, and songwriter who has reached the top of the UK Singles Chart with a self-written debut single. She did this at the age of 19 in 1978. We daresay that “Wuthering Heights” is a classic. She made history with it because she was the first British female music artist to make it to the charts’ top. If that’s not iconic, what is?
