Karen Carpenter
This amazing singer made up the Carpenters with her older brother Richard. Her drumming skills and singing voice are both noteworthy. It is hard to forget her when she had such a distinctive voice and incredible vocal range. She also worked on her own music, but they were only released in 1996. Paul McCartney said that she was “the best female voice in the world: melodic, tuneful and distinctive.”
Christina Aguilera
If you ask us, it is unbelievable that Christina Aguilera was just a teenager when she put out “Genie in a Bottle.” It was an international hit that made her an instant star. She has since released various pop albums, but she also dabbles in blues and jazz. She has previously been compared to Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, but her “all-time favorite singer” is none other than Etta James.
