Lieutenant Dan played by Gary Sinise and Tom Hanks worked well together on Forrest Gump and it wasn’t the only time they would work together. They also were co-stars on Apollo 13 and The Green Mile. When Hanks won the AFL Life Achievement Award, Sine felt like he was working with a truly gifted actor.
