Pan’s Labyrinth
Five years after the Spanish Civil War, this dark film takes place, mixing history with a mythical worldview. Essentially, the film is about a young girl named Ofelia who finds magical creatures that make her decide her fate somewhere. Parts of this film are violent and emotional, but what makes it a film to be praised by everyone who watched it is this film’s acting and camerawork.
