Eggplant
Eggplant is clearly meant to be kept out of the sunlight as well as at room temperature to guarantee that it lasts a long time. Overall, it’s really temperature-sensitive, so the refrigerator is a “no-no” to these guys. Also, keep it separate from other fruit and vegetables. We’re wondering if it’s about spending time alone. Perhaps not.
Pineapple
These tropical fruits stand out in a truly unique manner when compared to others. The ripening process completely stops once pineapples are harvested. Thus, if you haven’t had to cut this succulent summer fruit, you don’t have to put it in the fridge. If you intend to serve it to guests, though, it’s safe to say that everyone agrees that the cooler the better!
