Hot Sauce & Tabasco

As we talk about hot sauce and Tabasco, you should not forget that they both have a long shelf life. Hot sauce can last up to three years, and Tabasco can last up to five years, to be specific. As far as the hot sauce is concerned, you only need to make sure that its base is vinegar and that it does not have any fruit or vegetables-because while its color may change, it does not mean that the hot sauce has gone bad. Meanwhile, make sure you don’t expose Tabasco to direct sunlight and put it in a cool place. It doesn’t need to be refrigerated after opening Tabasco.

Jam

Seeing that loads of preservatives are added to jam, it is better not to keep them inside the refrigerator. Don’t put it inside the refrigerator, even if you open the jar! Even if some water is allowed to get inside the jar, it won’t ruin the taste or spoil the jam. In addition, when you take out jam, always make sure you don’t get any other food mixed with it; crisscrossing jams with other foods can make them taste weird!
