Do Not Sit East
You might remember how specific people would stake a claim on certain seats in the high school mess hall. The Freemason lodges have something that can be compared to that. The person dubbed the “Master” is meant to sit in the eastern part of the room. This space is exclusively for him as the other members cannot go there unless they are specifically invited to join the Master.
One Needs To Believe In A God
Most groups tend to be pretty selective when it comes to enlisting new members. This is also true for the Freemasons. There is one requirement of theirs that really sets them apart in our books. The Ranker website claims that one must have a belief in a “monotheistic god.” This means that you can kiss a spot in the Freemason lodge goodbye if you are an atheist.
