Alley Haircut
Chris, a PTSD-affected homeless army veteran, was introduced to Coombes. After hearing Chris’s story, he gave him a free haircut in an alleyway. Coombes wrote about the encounter on Instagram, saying, “He was in a bad way when I first met him. A friend of his had passed away just a few weeks before.” Before he left, Coombes asked Chris what he wanted people to know. What did he say in response? He advised people to spread as much love as they can.

Florin
Florin, a Romanian immigrant to Paris, was introduced to Coombes. Florin suffered from a stroke. When he awoke in the hospital, he had no passport and no way home, so he ended up sleeping on the streets. Florin, on the other hand, is optimistic that he will be able to return home at some point in the future. Coombes gave him a great haircut and bonded with Florin during their time together. Florin has even invited Coombes to visit him in Romania when he returns.
