This next one may seem like a cool trend to go along with, but trust us this is not always the case. It’s so crucial to maintain proportion when designing different rooms in your home. You don’t want a small chair next to a huge lamp or a massive couch next to a tiny coffee table. Here is a perfect example showing how this huge statue below looks completely out of place next to the small couch and side table. Definite no-no!
