You’ve always noticed that one side of a bobby pin is flat and the other is wavy, even though you’ve never used one. The zigzag pattern on the side facing the scalp is generally overlooked. Of course, in this way, it can seem to be a little cooler. The wavy side, on the other hand, helps hold the pin in place during the day by capturing the big clump of hair. Only the wavy side of the bobby pin is visible when it is not in use.

You’ve already noticed that the power cord on your MacBook has wings that you can pull up. You were probably perplexed as to why they exist at first. Don’t worry; we were all baffled at first as to why they were there. They do, however, have a useful function. If you flip them up, it’s easier to loop the cord around the power block, so it’s not just standing out there getting in the way. It is not necessary that you use it, but it is an excellent addition.
