You probably remember Larry Hagman, who played United States Air Force Captain Tony Nelson. A NASA astronaut as well, he worked for the government and spent his nights with his Jeannie. In the beginning, he was a rather uptight guy who preferred to focus on his job, but he eventually got closer to Jeannie and even got married to her! After the show came to an end, Larry Hagman appeared in a number of film and TV projects in the ‘70s. He is probably best known for playing J.R. Ewing in a popular soap opera called Dallas. In this role, he even brought home nominations for two Emmys and four Golden Globes! After that, he made guest appearances in shows like The Simpsons and Nip/Tuck. As a result of his heavy drinking, the actor underwent a liver transplant in 1995. Unfortunately, he died in 2012.
