In reality, there is nothing odd about continuity errors every now and then. A lot of people are dedicated to catching every single mistake ever made, however! In the ‘60s and ‘70s, this was not such a big deal. There was an episode when Tony goes to Rome, Italy and informs Jeannie that she might know it as “Gaul” instead. The problem is that this was the name used for modern-day France, not Rome!

I Dream Of Jeannie was replaced by a Hanna-Barbera cartoon called Jeannie. This animated show was only loosely based on the original series. It was on the air from 1973 to 1975. It involves a teenage surfer discovering the bottle and using it to keep himself safe from bullies at school. Mark Hamill was on the cast as a voice actor, as were Joe Besser, Bob Hastings, and Julie McWhirter!
