Can you believe that Larry Hagman was not notified of the show’s cancelation? He did not learn about it until he arrived at the studio where they filmed the show. That was the only point that a guard informed him about the news. Rumor has it that he had been vacationing in South America after they shot the fifth season. Upon his return from the trip, he planned to get something from the dressing room. This was when the guard stepped in to let him know that their show was not in production anymore.

On the show, Bill Daily played Roger Healey. His character was another astronaut who was a good pal to Tony Nelson. He regularly appeared on the show. His storylines typically had something to do with the friendship of these two men. Aside from that, he often tries to stop Healey from learning about the true nature of Jeannie. As you can imagine, he provided a lot of comic relief on the show as well.
