He lost his lion-keeping ability, which had an impact on his business and earning potential. Nonetheless, some animal rights activists believed he should be punished more severely. They believed he should be imprisoned or punished, at the very least, for what he had done to these lovely creatures.

Even though it began with the animals in deplorable conditions, this story ended with some love for the lions. Sheila was on the verge of being euthanized, but she is now spending the best years of her life with her lion husband. This story inspires us to believe in happy endings and do everything possible to keep lions from being exploited or overworked in their natural habitats.
