Dropping Out Of School
She dropped out of high school, which is no secret. She stated, “I wanted to be an artist.” She has developed an interest in painting, photo editing, and graphic design. In high school, these subjects had a scarcity of programs. And she was well aware that her local community college had excellent instructors and courses in which she was interested. She goes on to say, “I despised high school. I desired more variety, flexibility, and independence.” She does admit, however, that her then-boyfriend influenced her to drop out as one of the main reasons for doing so. “So, a boy is the most realistic answer,” she jokes.
Shoot After Shoot
She says, when questioned about her AT&T job, “It was just a typical audition. Nobody expected it to turn into a campaign.” She had no idea it would become a stepping stone to future success, particularly in the film industry. “The first one was shot in November of 2013, and it premiered in December.” She wasn’t expecting a call-back for another advertisement, for example. But every time she completed a shoot for one commercial, she was called back for another. And she always assumed that was the last one when they finished.
