Once Disney learned about what Potter did to control the mosquitoes in the Panama Canal Zone, the filmmaker offered him a job right away. The engineer accepted the offer and started to use his vast knowledge of pest control to good use! He hopped on the “Florida Project,” which eventually turned into the Disney World that we all know and love.

Without Potter, we doubt that guests would be able to enjoy their time at Disney World as much. Even though it is hard to completely get rid of them, the park staff uses a number of techniques to keep the mosquitoes away. And from the look of things, these tactics are all working very well!
