Stephanie Ruhle
Even though Stephanie Ruhle did not start out with aspirations in the field, her unique career path helped her gain prominence on MSNBC. She graduated from Lehigh University and started working in the finance sector for almost fourteen years. After that, she decided to change gears. She now serves as an anchor and the senior business correspondent of MSNBC Live and Velshe and Ruhle. She is still active in her old field as an independent consultant to Fortune 500 companies.
Robin Curnow
It is not a stretch to call Robin Curnow an institution at CNN. In 2001, she kicked off her career in London by covering stories in Europe. Her luck had to do with being in the right place at the right time, as well as her ability to craft engaging stories. She had the chance to cover the death of Nelson Mandela, the World Cup, and other important events. She is now an anchor of CNN Newsroom, which you can catch at 6 and 7 p.m. on Friday. She is also an international correspondent and guest host in Johannesburg, London, and New York.
