District of Columbia – 23% Obesity Rate
The obesity rate in the District of Columbia decreased by 1.9% in the year 2012. The state was ranked 2nd when it was about the lowest obesity rate. The obesity rate was 17.7%, while the overweight kids were 17.8%. According to the survey, the state’s lack of healthy food and people living in that area did not do physical activity.
