John Stockton – Basketball Coach
When he was in the NBA, you probably know John Stockton and Karl Malone as one dynamic duo. The former had an unselfish outlook on the sport and did not mind assisting instead of getting the score independently. In 2003, he retired from the league but did not exactly leave basketball behind. Even though he has served as the assistant coach of the women’s basketball team at Montana State University, he also coaches several youth basketball teams regularly. He is, without a doubt, an awesome guy.
Bill Walton – Sports Broadcaster
In the ‘70s, Bill Walton made a name for himself during his time with the UCLA Bruins. After all, he won two national titles with them in those days! After that, he joined the NBA and played for the Trailblazers. He won two titles and received the MVP award with Portland. In 1987, he retired and overcame his stutter. This helped him start a successful career as an NBA commentator for ABC/ESPN, CBS, NBC, and the Los Angeles Clippers. He took a break for a while but has since returned to do it on a full-time basis.
