Lionel Richie started out his music career when he joined the Commodores in the late 1960s. Richie was able to establish himself as a solo artist back in the 1980s. Some of his most popular songs were Truly, My Love, and You Are. Richie’s making money these days from being a television personality, and since 2018 he has been a judge on American Idol.
