Lauren Sanchez is a New Mexico resident, but after she graduated from high school, she transferred to Los Angeles. She graduated from the University of Southern California with her communications degree. She worked tirelessly to make a name for herself, and if you find out that she began out as a desk assistant for KCOP-TV located in Los Angeles, this is clear. She was then employed as a reporter and anchor by Phoenix-based KTVK-TV until she was given a reporting position at Extra. She has been worked by KTTV Fox-11, Fox Sports Net, and The View in the past as well.

Vera Jimenez, born in Mexico City, moved to California with her family when she was just three years old. She attended California State University for her undergraduate studies and then Mississippi State University for meteorology studies. She’s in her 50s now and Jimenez has an outstanding resume to show for it. Previously worked by KFWB-AM, KIK-FM, and KNX-AM, she is now working on the Los Angeles-based KTLA, News at 6 and News at 10 programs. Over the years, she has documented both the weather and the traffic. She has been given three Golden Mikes, three Golden Pylons, and two Emmy Awards.
