A certain brand of high-school based comedies came upon in the late 90s and early 2000s. American Pie was at the helm of it all. The films were wild, free, and exciting! It brings the cast of Sean William Scott, Tara Reid, Jason Biggs, and Alyson Hannigan. There was one scene that was very memorable to viewers. It was when a foreign student, Nadia, undresses to a live webcam audience, even though she thinks she is alone. It is a moment which was certainly paused and replayed quite a bit.

American Beauty was another popular film that came out during that year. The scene in question wasn’t hard to recall for those who have already seen the film. It starts with the film’s protagonist, Lester, sitting in a crowded basketball gym, and watching a group of cheerleaders do their dance routine. He soon becomes infatuated with the lead cheerleader played by Mena Suvari, someone who also starred in American Pie. Her spotlight shines as he becomes more focused on her dancing and when all else turns to black. We’re sure no one would forget that film-defining moment any time soon.
