They clearly stood out from the crowd, as they were among the first to play alternative rock and thrilled the masses with hits such as “Losing My Religion” and “Everybody Hurts”. Michael Stipe’s voice, Peter Buck’s guitar style, the meaningful lyrics, Mile Mill’s melodic bass lines and Bill Berry’s unique drumming style made REM something special.

After 30 years, since the band was founded in 1980, the band members decided to break up and devote themselves to solo projects. One can imagine the great disappointment of the fans who were hoping for new material. But what the fans can no longer take away is the legacy that the band has already left behind.

The two Americans Axl Rose and Slash helped the band Guns N’ Roses to great success. The band was dubbed the “most dangerous band in the world” due to their rebellious style. No wonder they won over fans all over the world. It is unique how they combine the classic rock sound with their distinct rock’n’roll character.

With their debut album “Appetite for Destruction” from 1987, two years after the band was founded, they landed at number 1 on the Billboard 200. The composition of the band members was unstable and repeatedly characterized by conflicts, but as soon as the band was on stage, there was no sign of this. Rock n’ roll united them again and again.
