The Kinks

The Kinks, another of many great English rock bands, were founded in 1963 in North London. The Kinks’ work is a clear symbol of English culture, which made them particularly popular in their mother country. Although they toured the US for a short stint, they were eventually banned from playing there due to their on-stage antics and reprehensible behavior. Nevertheless, The Kinks’ carefully crafted lyrics, relevant themes and incredible musicianship have always resonated with audiences.
