At first, she remained pessimistic, but it quickly became obvious that she had not been captured. She began preparing for her summer, staying in town with one of her closest friends, and if anything happens, she might make her stay. Finally, she was able to inform Jake of the excellent news that her reaction was going to leave her stunned.

Ecstatic but scared
Jennifer was so delighted! She wasn’t willing to understand. She had an opportunity to do everything she had been dreaming about and striving for. She couldn’t help but feel a little nervous at how soon something was moving on, however. She said she’s going to confess that to Jake because they’re going to do it together.
