Smokey Robinson – $100 million
Greatest Hits: Tracks of My Tears, Going to a Go-Go
Smokey Robinson was the guitarist for The Miracles band and their lead artist and songwriter. From 1955-1972, when he resigned, he led the party. After quitting the project, he returned as a solo artist. He quit Motown Records in 1990, writing a ton of songs, as other Motown representatives. Nice fact: his uncle’s nickname, like him. His uncle named him “Smokey Joe” as a “cowboy name,” and Smokey’s life was trapped.
