Jeff Barry, born in Brooklyn in 1938, was widely successful in the pop-rock genre. Musician, songwriter, and album producer. He was well known for his relationship with technical and personal Ellie Greenwich, and the two would become the most prominent recording and songwriting pair of the sixties. Barry produced numerous famous songs including “Do Wah Diddy Diddy,” “Chapel of Love” and “River Deep.”
