Billie Joe Armstrong is the creator and lead singer of the famous pop-punk band, Green Day. Back in 1994, he wrote the songs that made it to the band’s breakthrough LP, Dookie. Once the hit song American Idiot was released and topped the charts, the band has been on the rise ever since.

Freddie Mercury, the frontman and lead vocalist of the legendary band, Queen, is known as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock music. While at the top of his musical career, Freddie was famous for his flamboyant stage persona in addition to his impressive four-octave vocal range. He’s written many of Queen’s biggest hits, including “Killer Queen”, “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Somebody to Love”, “We Are the Champions”, “Don’t Stop Me Now”, and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”. After his passing, Freddie was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2003, and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004 as a member of Queen.
